A year in pictures: The FIB annual report

FIB publishes an annual report (the annual report) with stories of, by and for colleagues at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (Financial and Integral Management section). Not a dry report, but concrete stories about daily practice: what impact do employees make on policy? How do directorates work together? And what does their work mean for the ministry and society? A peek in the FIB kitchen, in other words.
Voxx writes several articles, from double interviews to atmospheric stories, painting an inspiring picture of what the FIB does for the Ministry of IenW. You can read the The FIB Annual Report 2024.
kick-off
During the kick-off with FIB, the theme of the year is discussed. For 2024, it was ‘collaboration between different boards’. We then go through the working arrangements: what is the timeline and who supplies what? With these kinds of reports, for instance, all parties reading along must be taken into account. That quickly makes the coordination process complex.
the shelf
In mutual agreement, the shelf emerges: an overview of the content(s), including article topics and to-be-talked-about interviewees. Here is the angle of each article and how the article relates to the broader theme. Think stories on ‘Working together on smart energy use’, ‘How IenW together saves €90.3’. The execution of the plank is discussed every week, in order to jump in where necessary and adjust the schedule if necessary.
on the move
We translate the interviews conducted into attractive stories for the various target groups. Wherever possible, we put FIB colleagues in the spotlight. After writing the articles and several rounds of feedback and editing, they are ready for the final layout.

The ministries of Economic Affairs, Climate and Green Growth and Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature report on internal operations and results - on sustainability, that is - in a sustainability report every year.
Using in-depth interviews and with a new visual concept, we developed both in 2023 as in 2024 a visually appealing and clear sustainability report, full of infographics and inspiring stories.
IenW asked us to provide the sustainability report in 2024 for the first time fully in accordance with the GRI guidelines 2021 (Global Reporting Initiative) to be drawn up.
