Playing with storytelling: in what form do you frame your story?

Story forms: creativity is the only limit right? You can write a story in as many as a hundred different ways. Each narrative has a different effect on the reader. These are a few examples:

Often a forward or backward look from the director, initiator or manager

A story told from the I form, with own observations or opinions

anecdote

Sharing information or an experience through a stimulating or amusing narrative (or several)

Informal style, makes the reader feel as if you are letting him/her look over your shoulder

A contemplative, objective, journalistic approach (facts, citing sources)

interview

Getting someone to speak via quotes, to explain something like this or to reinforce your message

Getting two people to speak: they respond to each other, or to a statement, question or topic. Or written down as if they were interviewing each other

A general introduction with the rest of the article then written as one quote

Format where the headline is a question, and below it is the answer (in full quote or not, without quotes or a mix)

A narrative or descriptive technique, usually written in the third person

Short article with focus on news event: concise, factual and possibly with various sources (experts) speaking

A 'high over' story: setting out the company's vision or mission or a specific topic. Usually in we-form

An article in which you list a number of tips or lessons learned, e.g. in bullet points

facts & figures

A form where you list facts and results in very short texts. This is about bite-sized content and can also be expressed through an infographic.
